The blazers have released the opt injured oden. We could sign him for the league minimal. I know High, high , high, high risk, but high reward if he recovers,but worth the risk, since we wouldn't pay him much.
Let's go Hawks! Eastern Conference Finals here we come. Horford will be back for playoffs, He and Ivan the Terrlble will dominate, Josh and Joe will play better than usual in the playoffs and Teage, Hinrich, and TMac will make some threes and ZaZa will go hard. This is a harder working team this year. I know, I know, I'm a homer but ATL do have real sports fans, we do support our teams.

Thats how it is sometimes at Hawks home games, especially if we are playing one of the top teams in the league. I've been to a few of the hawks home games and more fans were cheering for the other team, i was pissed about that. But joe should have taken that shot, because he had the hot hand. I hope horfold comes back for the playoffs.
Haven't posted here in a while, but this years been a lot of the same as far as how inconstitent the teams been, but I'll give them credit for being able to still end up possibly finishing the season as high as the 3 seed without Horford. Schedule's pretty light the rest of the season( I think there's only 7 games left with teams over .500), so hopefully the Hawks can make a run at the 3 seed and get healthy( doubt that Horford's gonna be back this year, but I'd love it if he'd be able to play in the playoffs).
HUGE game tonight against the Celtics, the Hawks need to pull out this game to keep homecourt against the celtics if they face them in the 1st round, and to keep pace with Indiana in the race for the 3 seed( I'm pulling for us to be the 4 or 5 and facing Indiana instead of Boston in the 1st round, if the hawks can pull out that series I feel they match up better with Chicago then Miami regardless of what's happend in the regular season so far).
I'm hoping the Horford thing coming back is true, would love to see him give us 15-20 minutes( if nothing more) off the bench in the playoffs, having him back would help the tremendously. Last nights game against the Celtics was terrible( I know they pulled out the win but with their top 4 players being out, it should have been an easy win), hopefully things change when the playoffs start next weekend.
Boy..you said a mouth full. The Hawks won, but the way they won, troubles me. They looked like the same ol'hawks 2 me. i don't think the hawks have enough heart or mental toughness 2 finally get past the 2nd rd.
Not the news I wanted to hear either. It would have been great to have him back. If just for his fresh legs!..players are looking tired around the league. Look at the lack of defense lately.
Wow!..talk about disrespect, jon barry already predicted it will be boston against the Bulls in the 2nd rd of the playoffs. He might be right but show the Hawks some respect. We have not even played yet.
Espn and TNT have been trashing the Hawks all week, saying there's next to no shot for them to win tis series. We all have no clue what's gonna happen, but I'd love for the Hawks to prove them all wrong again just like last year against Orlando.
