I've been saying the same thing for quite a while now Stats. Amazing how much of a different hitter he is since they've signed him. Even in his first season he was a good "hitter" who could spray the ball all over the entire field and keep his average at a respectable level. Now, he's just a power pull hitter that are a dime a dozen. He's hitting around .215 now, that's pathetic for $22 million a year.

Sorry 25 ha ha. Just that Teix has been driving me nuts the past few years, he's definitely not the player the Yanks overpaid for. I think he got sucked in by the short right field wall at the Stadium, kinda threw him off his batting style and he hasn't been able to recover. Don't get me wrong, I'll take his 30/100 every year but I'd trade a few less HRs for more hits in the clutch and an average close to 300 instead of one close to 240. It's just frustrating knowing what he has done, what he is capable of while watching him ground into double plays and hit into the shift every at bat.
Tough outing for Robertson tonight. Tough losing like that against division teams. |

I guess some disgruntled Sox fan is reporting my posts as if they are provocative, since this thread is on a "team" board where the back-and-forth usual on the main MLB board is limited. I'll rely on your impression as to whether I provoke or taunt any of you.
I posted the recent record. I noted the last short stint. I warned that the next 3 weeks have tougher teams on the schedule. As I see it, these aren't even opinions - just where we are. Should I post with a bag over my head? |

it could be very well somebody you might have made mad on the main board following your post , but to be honest I have never seen you post anyhting that is offensive or abusive, no personal attacks at all so all kidding aside it baffles me why you of all people would get a post deleted..As a Sox fan I find your comments funny and in good taste all the time.I enjoy your reads. if humor is now against the TOS then something sure ain't right around here besides all of the updates. |

after watching the ninth inning game last night Rays/Jays (Lowire) and then tonight's game my question to you is. Do the Rays have their own Umpiring team?  Clay did good only giving up 1 run 5 k's Wanna thank the home plate Ump for all the balks he called tonight. strange game.. what happened to Nova tonight?  |

Wow..I just want to know who it is that you have made that angry that you get your post deleted on this thread, that honestly if it wasn't for you I would not have found it and it's an enjoyable thread with out any smack talk and it's an actual thread were Red Sox and Yankee fans don't argue over who has the better team, just fans of baseball that I can see.. you don't get it? I don't get it.. I think an Admns needs to post on this thread and tell us just what it is that has them in an uproar over you and your post on here!! Just not right Statguy..Not right at all!!
